(OPIL)

FREE tutoring for students —
the Oakton Partners in Learning (OPIL) program.

  • REGISTER FOR TUTORING SESSIONS

    WHO: For all grades and ages, elementary school through high school, and adult learners.

    WHERE: Tutoring usually takes place in the Oakton CoB Fellowship Hall — a supervised, open space with access to laptops, wifi, a printer, and a variety of educational resources.

    WHEN: Tutoring sessions are 1 hour long, and occur between 6-8 PM weekday evenings.

    WHAT: Bring your homework and assignments, practice problem areas, or get help preparing for SOLs. Music & choir students can get support from our music teachers/musicians in classroom spaces.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

    A supervised reading and playroom is available for younger children while their older siblings participate in OPIL. There is a waiting room for parents.

    We provide healthy snacks to support learners who come to be tutored.

    Be a part of the OPIL program and make a difference to local students and adult learners. We’d love to have you bring your energy and your professional expertise and educational assistance. We can use help with program planning, tudoring (elementary and secondary, and adult learners), food donation organization and prep, transportation, and prayer support…and more.
